Ewellians Connected

Welcome to Ewellians Connected, a professional and social network and online portal for alumni (former pupils) of the School, current and former staff and governors, as well as current and former parents/guardians of the School. The objective of Ewellians Connected as well as the Ewell Castle School Alumni and Development Office, is to provide benefits for all members of the Ewell Castle community as well as the School itself.

What are the benefits?

Benefits include professional networking (in person and online) career support, mentoring, possible work experience and other job opportunities. They also include social and sporting events and reunions. Additionally, event photos are only available to those with an online profile.

Ewellians events and reunions

All alumni (including those who leave at the end of Year 11 aged 16+), current and former staff and governors, as well as current and former parents/guardians of the School may attend Ewellians events and reunions. Additionally, current Year 13 students may attend some Ewellian events during their last term at the School.

How does the School keep in contact with Ewellians and members of Ewellians Connected?

Every year the Alumni Office gets in touch with Year 11 and Year 13 and asks them for a personal email address. In the case of Year 13, they are asked to join Ewellians Connected and are given limited access via a 'current year 13 students' online profile. Once personal email addresses have been added to Ewellians Connected website, those individuals will receive Ewellians E-Bulletin emails with news of events, reunions and other networking and mentoring events that they can attend, that may be of interest/benefit to them.

When do current pupils become Ewellians (alumni)?

Current pupils do not become Ewellians (alumni) until after they leave the School at the end of Year 11 (aged 16+) or at the end of Year 13 (18+). Their details are updated on the alumni database by the autumn after they leave.

Who has full access to Ewellians Connected?

Alumni aged 18 and above, current and former staff and governors, as well as current and former parents/guardians of the School have full access to Ewellians Connected once they join and create an online profile.

What about alumni who leave at the end of Year 11?

Whilst Year 11 leavers cannot access Ewellians Connected until they are 18 or above, if the School has their personal email address, those alumni will receive the E-Bulletin emails with updates on events they can attend as well as networking and career opportunities.

We believe that our Ewell Castle School community is more than just a school. We are a broad community that includes no only alumni, but current/former staff and current and former parents/guardians.
