Welcome to our fundraising and donation page. We currently have four fundraising appeals that you can donate towards.
Your Donation Can Change a Pupil's Life
Pupils in our nationally acclaimed Ewell Castle Tennis Academy require the necessary kit and equipment to enable them to continue to train year-round and compete at national and international level. Former members of our Tennis Academy have gone on to receive full tennis scholarships at US universities and others play internationally.
Did you know that our Tennis Academy pupils get through a pair of tennis shoes every six-eight weeks and need their tennis rackets restrung after every competition?
Please donate what you can to this appeal, to allow Ewell Castle pupils in the Tennis Academy to fulfil their sporting potential. See below what your donations can provide:
HOW YOU CAN SUPPORT:
£70.00 = Pays for one pair of tennis shoes
£140.00 = Pays for two pairs of tennis shoes
£10.00 = Pays for one tennis racket to be re-strung
£20.00 = Pays for two tennis rackets to be re-strung
£40.00 = Pays for four tennis rackets to be re-strung
Tennis Academy Travel Bursary Fund
Many of our Tennis Academy tennis players are playing at National and International level. The competition entry fees, transport and accommodation costs are becoming so expensive that they are struggling to meet these costs of playing at this very high level. On top of this, they also need equipment. These players are totally dedicated to representing the school in the LTA Schools Tennis, training both in and out of School more than fourteen hours every week. They must play at these levels to compete against the other top tennis schools such as Reed's and Millfield.
A number of our Tennis Academy players are on bursaries (assisted places) and we are setting up a bursary travel fund to help with some of these costs, to help ensure they continue to compete at the very top level and keep Ewell Castle in the top three schools nationally in every age group.
Money from this fund is only for pupils in the Tennis Academy who the Head of the Tennis Academy, Bursar, and Principal of the School decide are worthy recipients of the money. They must embody the values of the School, have the potential to become professional tennis players and they must continue to keep up with their academic studies.
Under its public benefit provision, the School currently offers a number of bursaries to families who would not otherwise be able to afford a Ewell Castle School education for their children. Demand is high, however, the School’s funds are limited. We would love to be able to help even more dedicated children and so The Ewellians Association Committee and Ewell Castle School are launching an Ewellians Sixth Form Bursary to support existing Ewell Castle School families who require support to enable their children to continue into our Sixth Form.
It is financial support to allow pupils to continue their academic journey into our Sixth Form (which may also include opportunities for Ewellians to mentor and provide work experience to Sixth Form students).
