Ewellians 2026Football Tournament
The 2026 Ewellians Football Round Robin Tournament is a FREE event for Ewellians aged 16 and above (The School pays to book the pitch). This event is not just for men, all Ewellians are invited to participate and to spectate! We have booked an 8-Aside pitch at GOALS in Tolworth and teams will typically consist of 8 players each, but don't worry if you have a group of friends who would like to take part, but there are not 8 of you. We will simply mix up the teams on the evening to ensure that everyone has the chance to play regardless of whether they come on their own or with a group of mates.
Date & Time - Thursday 18th of June 2026 7.30pm to 9pm (optional drinks at the bar from 9pm to 10pm)
Following the amazing success of our previous football tournaments in 2022, 2023, 2024 and 2025 we will be holding our fifth event on Thursday 18th of June 2026 at Goals in Tolworth. If you enjoy playing football, like the idea of meeting up with other Ewellians and/or currently have your own Ewellians football team, then sign up to attend. The event will end in the bar, where all football players taking part will be offered a complimentary drink of their choice (beer or non-alcholic soft drink).
How to Book Your Place
EVERYONE intending to play (not just the team captains) MUST SIGN UP TO PLAY via the RESERVE MY PLACE rsvp blue box under the Sign up here heading. Please book either a free player ticket or a free spectator ticket, this is to help us calculate numbers in advance. Please do not just turn up on the night without having rsvpd online. Thank you for your understanding and we look forward to seeing you on the night.
What to Wear
Sports shorts and short-sleeved tee shirt or football shirt if you have one, plus football boots, socks (shinguards optional) - Goals insist that no metal studs may be worn on football boots. If you are coming in a group, you may or may not wish to wear 'matching' tee shirts, please note that different coloured bibs will be available, so regardless of what top you wear, each 8-Aside team will wear the same coloured tee shirt to denote which team they are a part of.
The free event for Ewellians aged 16 and above will be held at Goals in Tolworth near Surbiton, just off the A3, 7.30pm-9.00pm on 18th June 2026. On site free parking is available and the venue is across the road from Tolworth train station, local buses also stop at Tolworth train station.

Please Support Our Bursary Fund: This is a free event, so please consider making a donation to our Sixth Form Bursary Fund, that enables current Ewell Castle Year 11 pupils in financial difficulty, to continue through to our Sixth Form and study for their A levels. Thank you.
