Following the success of the 2024 Ewellian's Golf Day at Kingswood Golf and Country Club, we are pleased to announce Friday 25th April 2025 as the date for this year's event.  This event is not only for male golfers - everyone is invited!

As per previous years, non-golfers are most welcome to come along for the sandwich/chips lunch and group photo from midday, as well as for the golfers grill supper at approximatley 6pm.  If you would like to attend please click on the Register button and click on whichever parts of the event you would like to attend. Golfers and non-golfers are welcome, the timings and costs are below.

1) HOW MANY WILL I BE PLAYING WITH?

Golfers will play in a four, and you can either organise your own group to play as a four or if booking an individual ticket you will be allocated into a four according to your golf handicap.

2) MAXIMUM GOLF PLAYING STANDARD:

The lunch and supper are open to all regardless of golf handicap or whether or not you are taking part in the golf.  However, due to the difficulty of the course, a MAXIMUM GOLF HANDICAP OF 36 IS REQUIRED in order to take part in the round of golf and fully enjoy the afternoon.  Please include your handicap in the event booking form. 

3) EVENT COSTS:

Prices are on the event booking form.  You will be able to book whatever combination suits you from the options below:

• Lunch only (no golf) £11 (same price for members or non-members), or 
• Supper only (no golf) £20 (same price for members or non-members), or
• Lunch and supper only (no golf) ( same price for members or non-members) £31, or 
• Golf only (no food) non-members of Kingswood Golf Club £47, or
• Golf only (no food) Kingswood Golf Club members £0, or
• Full day non-members Kingswood Golf Club  (lunch, supper and golf), £78 or
• Full day Kingswood Golf Club members (lunch, supper and golf), £31 or
• Lunch and golf only (non-members Kingswood Golf Club), £58 or
• Lunch and golf only (Kingswood Golf Club members), £11 or
• Golf and supper (non-members Kingswood Golf Club), £67 or
• Golf and supper (Kingswood Golf Club members) £20

4) EVENT TIMINGS:

Lunch at midday followed by group photo and first tee-off at 1.20pm.   Supper will be served at 7.30pm and non-golfers are welcome to come along and join the group for pre-supper drinks in the bar, followed by supper.

5) BOOKING GOLF EVENT TICKETS FOR YOURSELF OR FOR OTHER PEOPLE:

Ewellians may book a ticket for themselves and others.  The booking form inclues three questions regardless of whether you are booking just for yourself or also for others.  If booking for others, please note that the first time the questions appear on the page they will relate to your ticket.  Subsequent ticket options for each of your 'guests' will each require the three questions to be answered, in addition to asking for their first name, surname and email address, so please obtain the answers to the questions from any guests you are booking for, before you begin to book the tickets online.

These are the three questions:

• What is your/your guests' golf handicap? (if not playing golf add NA to the box)
• What is the name of your/your guests' golf club or social golf? (if not playing golf pleae add NA to the box)
• If  you/your guests are having lunch or supper and have any dietary requirements please list below (or add NA if you are not having lunch or supper or have no dietary requirements)

Plus for each guest: First name, surname and email address

6) HOW TO BOOK AND PAY TO ATTEND:

Everyone taking part must book their place online and pay with a credit or debit card via our online payment portal (Stripe).  Please do not email your booking request to anyone, instead please follow the instructions below.   If you have problems booking/paying, please email Carol at ewellians@ewellcastle.co.uk.

1. On the Golf Event page, find the heading "Sign up here" and click on the blue box with "I'd like to attend" on it.
2. Fill in the registration details by selecting the relevant "Yes or No" option by clicking on the small downward facing arrow on the far right on all the four drop down boxes: Lunch only, Supper only, Full Day or Full Day Special Kingswood Member price.  For example if you are just attending the Lunch and nothing else, you would select 'Yes' in the Lunch only box and 'No' in the other three boxes.
3. Once the four boxes have been completed, click on the blue "Next" button.
4. Depending on which booking option/s you require, click inside the box/es with "o" and select the number you require, either using the drop down arrows or by adding the number manually. Then click the blue "Add" box.
5. A summary of "Your tickets" then appears on the page, for example if you have booked one lunch ticket it will say "Lunch only (1 person) - £10.00"  It also gives you the option to "Remove ticket" in case you have made a mistake.
6. If you are donating to the Sixth Form Bursary Fund, add the donation amount in the empty box.  
7. Regardless of whether or not you are donating to the Sixth Form Bursary Fund, once you have specified how many tickets you require, then select the blue "Next" box.
8. Your summary registration page then appears, check the details are correct and if they are, click the blue "Book tickets" box, or "Back" if you need to amend your ticket options.
9. The next screen to appear has a blue "Pay now and Finish" box which initially appears light blue/grey. In the "Select a payment method" drop down box which is above, select the only available option, which is "Pay by credit/debit card".   Then click the blue box "Pay now and Finish".
10. This takes you to the payment page, check the amount is correct and enter your credit/debit card details and then finally press the blue "Pay" box.
11. You have now booked your ticket/s and paid.  Thank you.

7) PAYMENT:

Please pay online via our online card payment gateway system (see above). PLEASE DO NOT PAY VIA BANK TRANSFER.

8) REFUNDS:

Please note that Stripe (our online payment gateway system) charges the School a % commission/transaction on all fee payments.  Therefore, in the event that a Ewellian who has paid can no longer attend the event and a refund is requested, Ewell Castle School will not be returning the full amount originally paid via Stripe back to the Ewellian.   We will return the amount less whatever the % commission/transaction fee was.  Stripe's UK fee is 1.5% +£0.20 for standard UK cards.
