Ewellian Community Christmas Meal at Ewell Castle School: Friday 22nd November 2024
Following on from the huge success of our Ewellians Christmas meal last year, we are organising a Christmas event this year. Celebrate Christmas early with a festive Christmas meal with old School friends on Friday the 22nd November 2024 at Ewell Castle School. You can buy an individual ticket or up to 11 tickets per person. The evening will commence with a drinks reception in the festively decorated Tudor Lounge/Castle Hall which will feature the decorated Christmas tree, then the meal will be served in the Budgell Hall.
Cost and menu:
The cost per person which includes the drinks reception, a delicious freshly cooked 2-course meal (main course and dessert), half a bottle of wine per person (or soft drinks), tea or coffee with an after-dinner chocolate is £30.00 per person. The meat main course option will be roast turkey with kale, fondant potatoes, carrots and cranberry & thyme sauce. The vegetarian/vegan main course option will be lightly roasted spiced roast parsnip, squash & sweet potato wellington with kale, fondant potatoes, carrots and cranberry & thyme sauce. There will be a choice of dessert: either Christmas pudding with brandy sauce OR chocolate yule log with chocolate ganache & cream.
Event timings:
The event is from 7pm to 9.30pm. Following the event, Ewellians may choose to continue the celebration evening at a local pub such as The Spring Tavern in Ewell Village.
Table Seating Plans:
We will have tables of 12. If you are attending on your own, you will be allocated a table with others of a similar year group/decade to you. Alternatively why not bring a a friend or partner, a neighbour or relative with you? We will arrange the seating plans so that you will be seated with other Ewellians either from the same year group, or as close to your year group as possible. If you still meet up with other Ewellian friends, why not hold your Christmas get-to-gether at our dinner? If there are enough of you, you can even have your own dedicated table.
Menu selections required for you and your guests at the time of booking/paying:
When you come to pay online, you will also be asked to make your menu selection for yourself and also for any guests that you are booking and paying for. Please ensure you have this information to hand. On the night we will have a printed list of guest names along with their individual menu choices, in case you forget what you ordered!
Payment:
